Research part 1
On my research paper part one I stayed focused on one source and one case that happened. The case was a shocking and heartbreaking one; just to see and read how our protectors would do the innocent. The civilian was a homeless Caucasian male that had a mental illness called schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is a psychotic disorder characterized by loss of contact with the environment, by noticeable deterioration in the level of functioning in everyday life, and by disintegration of personality expressed as disorder of feeling, thought (as delusions), perception (as hallucinations), and behavior called also dementia praecox. The two officers approached the citizen and started hitting and kicking him. As this attack continued more officers arrived and instead of stopping the attack they also joined in. Punching, kicking, stomping, and also tasing him until they seemed to get tired. They civilian was crying out for help during the entire attack. He screamed at the top of his lungs several times that he was sorry and at one point cried out for his father. The officers ignored him and continued even when he said he could not breath. One officer said his taser ran out and he ran out of option so he decided to beat his face to hell. If the civilian was resisting arrest and fighting them then I would have understood why they did what they did a little. But he was not bothering anyone, resisting arrest, or fighting back. The officers should be fired and fined for their unnecessary attack. The man died five days after his the incident due to breathing failure. The officers had pleaded not guilty as if they did not attack the citizen in court. I do not know what kind of punishment they received, but I feel as the court should give them some time in jail so they can realize what they have done. If I was the judge I would make them pay all the medical bills, the funeral bills, and they would serve ten to twelve years in prison.

Whaattt?? Where was this at? I guess I don't watch the news as much as I should, that is crazy! That's another thing to add to my list of why I don't trust cops, along with that cop that got arrested in Memphis for sex trafficking, and another cop that had cocaine in his car, and ANOTHER cop that caused the car accident that killed that kid. Cops are ridiculous! They need to start doing some serious research on the people that they hire to become officers to PROTECT the people, not harm them. They have no excuse for the measure of harm they caused that man.
ReplyDeleteI like the way that you wrote it in a way that I was questioning what happened, and as I read, it all came out. You also chose a great topic to write about; You can never run out of things to say about the corrupt police force, especially these days. Kudos!
OMG!That was so cruel. The officers was out of order and should be put under the jail. The officers had no right beating that innocent homeless man like that. This is way we need to watch the news because we don't know what is going on in our city or around the world. If I was the judge I would sentence them to life in prison with no questions asked.
