Story of my neighborhood
A small city called Jackson TN is the place I was born and raised. Jackson is the center point between Nashville and Memphis. My city is not that big of a city, and it is not known for much. My town is a very supportive community when it comes to the schools and sports. There are five elementary schools, five middle schools, seven high schools, and five colleges in Jackson. The community of Jackson is a very friendly and hospitable. Everyone talks to each other like they grew up together their whole life. Even if you never met them before the conversation you will be able to have a full conversation as if you already knew them. It is a cool, relaxing place to live. Its not like Memphis. There are a lot more friendly people in Jackson. People there will give you a helping hand anytime you need it. Life there is like life here though. You have all of your different ethnic groups, religions, political groups and more. The number one sport is football there. It was basketball at one point, but around the year 2007 football became popular there. The rival games are always filmed on television for the week. The city is real supportive to the athletic departments. The banks and other companies sponsors the teams and donates money to help them out. Most of the neighborhoods are nice and comfortable and have neighborhood watch programs. Some of them even throw block parties for everyone that live in the neighborhood could attend. The block parties consist of food, music, and games. It is a way to meet your fellow neighbors and get to know each other. Its also a opportunity for the kids to make no friends. Jackson is just a loving town that you should come visit some time. There are plenty of restaurants and other places to go if you want to enjoy yourself.
